How do I know if my system supports Audio or a Microphone?
On the back of your DVR or NVR you will see an input that shows ‘AUDIO IN‘ and it will be a phono input, usually either White or Red in colour. If you have this port on the back, then you can add a surveillance microphone to your system. You may have more than one AUDIO IN port, which means you can add multiple microphones. If you are still unsure, please contact us for advice.
Advantage of the Power Out:
If you are going to place this Microphone near a CCTV camera, then you will not need to run an extra cable for power. You can simply use the power feed which is coming to the camera.
